Dear Madam, Sir,
If you were to ask a present-day CEO what the key succes factor is for sustainable succes of his organisation, he is most likely to say: my people. Yet, to date, the most important measure of the organisation’s fitness is the company’s financials. Of course, there is no denying that the current economic climate asks for rigid and prudent financial management. But employee commitment, leadership quality and organisational capabilities should be measured and managed with the same rigour. Ultimately, it are your managers and co-workers that can help you come out of these challenging times even stronger.
With our dashboard approach and underlying proprietary tools we deliver input for the company’s alignment scorecard: is the ambition clear, are people 'onboard', is leadership 'walking the talk' and is the organisation capable to execute. This provides a wealth of insight on the fitness of the organisation and pinpoints where additional (communication) actions are needed; e.g. in what teams is your talent's pride and satisfaction below benchmark. Let me know if you would like to discuss!
Kind regards, on behalf of the MeyerMonitor team,
Marcel Jacobs

MeyerMonitor and Nyenrode Business University co-host an insightful seminar based on the "Strategic Alignment ScorecardTM" of your own organisation.
Finding new ways to generate revenues and identifying opportunities for cost savings are now more important than ever. Obviously, the more committed your people are, the more successful your company will be. This is equally true for executing cost savings or restructuring programs. Committed people will come up with more and better ideas and they are willing to go the extra mile.
On Tuesday 28 April, you and your fellow directors and senior managers of midcaps and multinationals are invited to join us for an inspiring and practical seminar aimed at leveraging your company’s competitive advantage. The event revolves discussing insights gained from the Strategic Alignment ScorecardTM of your company. This scorecard will be filled out on-line preceding the seminar and will provide insight on the quality and clarity of the strategy, the organisational capabilities, employee commitment and leadership connectedness to the organisation. Together we will translate the Scorecard results –based on proven methodologies and concepts– into concrete actions for improvement.
This high-level event will take place at Nyenrode Castle from 9h00 to 18h00. Following your registration, a group of 5 people within your organisation –designated by yourself– will be invited to participate in the on-line “Strategic Alignment Survey” issued by MeyerMonitor. The survey will provide input for your company’s Strategic Alignment Scorecard. You will receive a full report on your company’s scorecard and, on participation, you will also receive a copy of “Beyond Control”, written by Fred Lachotzki, Professor of Business Policy at Nyenrode Business University. The participation fee is only €995 (excl. 19% VAT, incl. book and scorecard report).

Randstad People Survey: measuring and managing worldwide employee engagement
In Fall 2008 MeyerMonitor conducted a global people survey for Randstad Group to gain company wide insights on employee engagement and the company’s culture. Using MeyerMonitor’s on-line Engagement MonitorTM as a basis more than 21,000 employees, located in 20 different countries were invited to participate in the survey. The survey itself was available in 12 languages.
To offer insight to each and every operating company director, country or unit manager, MeyerMonitor provided over 500 actionable reports; clearly indicating both level of engagement as well as the drivers that should be acted upon. The survey results were discussed by the Executive Board to identify priority improvement areas. As well, MeyerMonitor organised dozens of conference calls to discuss the results with country managers and others around the world. Subsequent actions were taken on people development, leadership, communication, etc.

Ahold: third consecutive year for Leadership Pulse Survey
In the fall of 2008, for the third year running, Royal Ahold conducted the Ahold Leadership Pulse Survey amongst its top 600 business leaders across the world. Using this survey, combining parts of our Company MonitorTM with custom questions on “Strategy Awareness & Trust”, “Culture”, “Engagement” and “Inclusiveness”, Ahold keeps a tab on its ability to execute the strategy, and:
- Cascades the strategic objectives and engage senior management;
- Gathers input from senior management on strengths and potential barriers for successful strategy execution;
- Creates a shared and actionable agenda for the way forward.
In November the detailed outcome of the survey was shared and discussed, through several conference calls, workshops and meetings, with the Board, operating companies’ CEOs and heads of HR to serve as the basis for improvement initiatives and concrete actions at every operating company.

VETUS Dealer Survey: VETUS taps into the collective knowledge of its worldwide dealer network
VETUS, a Dutch manufacturer of marine engines and equipment, has dealerships in over 75 countries worldwide. To achieve the company’s strong growth ambitions the support of the dealers is vital. To assess the dealers’ opinion on VETUS and its products and to chart what opportunities there are to improve the product portfolio and sales & distribution efforts, MeyerMonitor designed a custom made survey. The dealers participated in great numbers and showed very strong commitment to the company as well as some specific areas for improvement.
The results of this survey were presented to and discussed with the entire dealer community during VETUS’s bi-annual international dealer meeting in Barcelona. This resulted in a joint agenda for improvement on topics such as stock control, delivery and product development.

Co-operation with "Opportunity Advies" leads to Inclusiveness Scan
Inclusive organisations successfully attract and retain talent, regardless of age, gender or ethnic background. This strengthens the competitive position of those companies on the rapidly changing labour market. Opportunity Advies, the leading consultancy in the field of inclusive leadership and gender diversity, and Meyer Monitor, have brought their expertise together and jointly developed a new and powerful instrument for identifying visible and invisible barriers for the development and retention of employees: the Inclusiveness Scan.
The Inclusiveness Scan analyses the company culture on several hierarchical levels, provides insight in level of inclusiveness within the organisation and shows what restraints the culture holds in the entry, commitment and development of employees. It provides answers on question such as: “Are current appraisel processes truly objective?” and “What is the level of ambition among employees?”, “Is our culture open for diversity?” and “Has leadership the right skills for managing inclusiveness?” Through the results the Inclusiveness Scan provides a basis for implementing cultural changes throughout the organisation.
For more information on the Inclusiveness Scan, please contact Noortje Bavinck or call us at +31 (0)20 3050133.
